The best amateur dunkers will fight for a place in the second NBA
All-Star Slam Dunk Showdown. Taurian "Air Up There" Fontenette,
won the first edition in Dallas.
Vote your 4 favorite dunkers at
http://www.nba.com/dunk/, the winners will participate in the Slam Dunk
Showdown Championship in Los Angeles during the 2011 NBA All-Star
Weekend.
Rules
The NBA and Sprite are bringing the best
amateur dunkers in the U.S. to the NBA All-Star Weekend 2011 in Los Angeles to crown
a Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown champion.
One champion dunker will be selected in each of the eight Slam Dunk Showdown
cities, winning $1,000.
Two champions will be selected via the online video submission contest.
Of the ten total champions, the public will vote for their favorites and the
top four dunkers will be sent to the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles to
compete for the $10,000 Grand Prize.
