1952 NBA ALL STAR FINAL BALLOT RESULTS - 31 JANUARY
The rosters were chosen by sportwriters and sportcasters. Until 1973, each NBA team
had to be represented with at least 1 players, and a maximum of 3 players.
Since 1975 the NBA All-Star selections have been left to the fans who vote
to determine the starting fives. NBA coaches complete the roster.

* 3 days before the All-Star Game Dolph Schayes fractured
his wrist. Vince Boryla was next in the balloting but also had a knee
injury, so finally Harry Gallatin was the choice.
** Despite being an unanimous pick, Vern Mikkelsen started the
game on the bench.
This ballot is uncompleted. It's really difficult to track this old info that is not available on Internet. If you have some data available that could help from magazines, newspapers, etc. please contact me
